West Midlands Police have confirmed that a death at a Northfield church this afternoon is not being treated as suspicious (Monday 28th January).
A spokesperson said that they were called, alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service, to St Laurence Church at around 12.40pm after a man, believed to be in his 60s, was found unconscious.
The spokesperson said: “Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.”
