A man suffered a stab injury when thieves stole his car in Kings Norton yesterday evening (Sunday 7th April).
West Midlands Police are investigating after the man was stabbed in the leg during a carjacking in Hillmeads Road at around 7.30pm.
Hillmeads Road was closed for several hours as officers examined the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “Three men in a black Seat Ibiza were approached by a group of men demanding they got out the car. The driver was stabbed in the leg, and his two passengers were assaulted before the offenders made off in the car.”
It is understood that the driver of the Seat managed to get onto a bus where he was assisted by the driver and passengers.
The man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
