Six men from Northfield and Frankley charged with burglary & car theft offences

Six local men have been charged as the result of a West Mercia Police investigation into a series of burglary and car theft offences across south Birmingham, North Worcestershire and Halesowen.

It is alleged that Aidan Walls and Callum Bellamy, both 21 and from Frankley; 22 year old Nathan Cranmer from Northfield; 19 year olds Josh Lester and Reece Woodthorpe, also from Northfield, and a 17 year old who cannot be named, carried out the offences between August and November last year.

It is believed more unknown offenders were also involved.

The six appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (4 June) to face charges of conspiracy to commit dwelling burglaries – with each other and unknown others – and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

They are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday 8th July.

The men appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (4 June) and will next appear at Worcester Crown Court on 8 July 2019.

The charges come as West Mercia Police continues to crack down on serious and organised crime as part of its Protect campaign.
