West Midlands Police have arrested a 13 year old girl in relation to a serious assault on another teen in a Northfield park earlier this month.
The assault – which was caught on video and shared on social media – took place in Ley Hill Park at 1pm on Saturday 3rd August.
A 14 year old girl was dragged to the floor and repeatedly stamped on and kicked.
West Midlands Police arrested a 13 year old girl on suspicion of assault yesterday (Tuesday 13th August).
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are aware of a video which is circulating on social media and would urge people not to speculate on the identity of those involved as it may hinder the investigation.”
