West Midlands Police have launched an appeal after a taxi driver suffered serious hand injuries after being stabbed during a robbery in Druid’s Heath on Saturday night (24th August).
The driver – a man in his 40s – was called to pick up a passenger in Saxelby Close, off Manningford Road, at around 11pm.
A man got into the vehicle and then stabbed the driver several times before fleeing with cash and a mobile phone.
The driver was taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries to his hands.
