Thirty firefighters attended a fire in a flat in a Druid’s Heath tower block this lunchtime (Thursday 29th August).
The fire started in a bedroom on the 7th floor of Saxelby House in Kimpton Close just before midday.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries in the blaze, which was brought quickly under control.
West Midlands Fire Service said their first crew arrived at the scene within 5 minutes.
