Pedestrian injured in Frankley hit and run

West Midlands Police are investigating after an elderly woman was injured in a hit and run accident in Frankley yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 1st October).

The collision – between a pedestrian and a car – happened at around 5pm in Holly Hill Road, close to the New Street junction. The driver did not remain at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “An elderly woman was taken to hospital to be checked over, though her injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.”
