Witnesses sought after trainee nurse hit by car leaving work

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after a trainee nurse was hit by a car after leaving his workplace in Kings Norton yesterday (Monday 13th October). The car left the scene, leaving the 19 year old injured and confused.

The hit and run accident happened in Walkers Heath Road at around 2.15pm as the nurse left the Moundsley Hall Care Home after finishing his shift.

He was taken to hospital for assessment but has since been released. He told B31 Voices he has no recollection of the accident itself and is suffering partial memory loss of the few days before.

West Midlands Police confirmed they had been called to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car which subsequently failed to stop.
