According to the BBC, MP for Bromsgrove Sajid Javid has resigned as Chancellor of the Exchequer as Prime Minister Boris Johnson reshuffles his cabinet today (Thursday 13th February).
A source close to Mr Javid told the BBC he turned down the job of chancellor after being asked to “fire all his special advisers and replace them with Number 10 special advisers to make it one team.”
