
West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died in a crash in Selly Oak this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Pershore Road at around 2.45pm following a collision involving a motorbike and a car.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was treated by paramedics but despite their best efforts died at the scene.
Sergeant Chris Ridge, from the Regional Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are also appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
“Our thoughts remain with the family of the man who lost his life and specialist officers are supporting them at this difficult time.”
