Police are investigating after a teenage boy was stabbed in Frankley this morning (Tuesday 3rd November).
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman confirmed that a 15-year-old boy suffered a stab wound to his back near Devon Road just before 11am.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance, paramedic officer and critical care paramedic attended. One male was given treatment on scene for serious injuries before being taken on blue lights to hospital for further emergency care.
The WMP spokeswoman said: “The boy is being treated at hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
