A local organisation is rewarding local volunteers for their dedication to communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Northfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNNS) is celebrating volunteers – as well as community organisation staff – who have gone above and beyond to help, with the Keep Calm and Carry On Award.
NNNS, part of Northfield Community Partnership, supports the over 50s as well as supporting other organisations who work with the age group.
Keep Calm and Carry On
NNNS Coordinator Lois Maguire said: “The idea is to recognise and celebrate the work the Northfield community have been doing to support each other throughout the pandemic.
”Everyone is tired, working harder than ever, it feels like the final push of a marathon and peoples legs are going… so we want to just give people an extra boost to keep going… to ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’.”
