A cyclist suffered serious leg injuries in a hit & run collision with a car in a Northfield street yesterday evening (Sunday 14th March).
The collision happened at around 6.45pm in Rea Road.
West Midlands Ambulance Service treated the cyclist for serious leg injuries at the scene before conveying him to hospital.
West Midlands Police confirmed that the cyclist — a 23 year old man — remained in hospital today after suffering potentially life-changing leg injuries.
The driver of the car involved failed to remain at the scene and police enquiries continue to trace them.
