West Midlands Police are investigating after receiving reports of gun shots being fired in a Northfield street last night (Tuesday 20th September).
Officers were called to Manor Park Grove just after 10pm and the scene was secured and searches carried out.
The scene remains cordoned off this morning to allow forensic experts and officers to examine the area in daylight hours.
No reports of anyone being injured have been received. Eyewitnesses claim that shots were fired at a house, with at least one bullet entering through a window.
