Paramedics treated a child for ‘serious injuries’ after he was involved in a collision with a car in Rednal yesterday (Thursday 3rd October).
The collision happened on Cliff Rock Road at around 4.15 pm. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance, paramedic officer, MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic were sent to the scene. After treating the boy for serious injuries, he was taken to hospital for further treatment.
West Midlands Police confirmed that they attended the scene, adding that the boy suffered facial injuries.
The car’s driver remained at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries.
