Update from West Midlands Ambulance Service:
“We were called to a stabbing on Medway Grove, Kings Norton at 10.08am. We sent two ambulances, three paramedic officers and the WMAS Critical Care Car to the scene. Upon arrival crews found a man who was being cared for by police. Crews immediately began administering advanced trauma care, however, sadly despite best efforts nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was found to have died from serious injuries in Kings Norton this morning (Tuesday 5th November).
Officers were called to Medway Grove in the Hawkesley area just after 10am.
A WMP spokesperson said: “A man was discovered seriously injured and sadly nothing could be done to save him.
“We’re currently working to establish exactly what happened and who was involved. We’re reviewing CCTV and carrying out house-to-house enquiries as we investigate. A scene is currently in place.”
