West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted by thieves who made off with his car in Kings Norton last week.
The incident happened just before 10pm on Tuesday 7th March.
As the victim pulled up outside flats in Arnold Grove a man knocked on his window and opened the car door.
The driver was set upon and badly beaten by what he believes to be three black man who were armed with a metal bar.
The thieves made off with his car, a black Seat Ibiza, and the victim had to attend A&E with head and facial injuries after the attack.
The victim is recovering from his injuries but has allowed the release of images of the wounds in the hope that someone will come forward with information.
