West Midlands Police are investigating after reports of ‘disorder’ in Kings Norton just before 8pm yesterday (Thursday 20th April).
Police flooded the area around Owens Croft and Hillmeads Road after receiving the reports.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “A 14-year-old boy received a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. One other individual suffered minor injuries.”
She added: “Officers are in the very early stages of the investigation and are currently working to establish exactly what happened. Witnesses are being spoken to and we are trawling CCTV in the are.”
