West Midlands Police are appealing for information after an elderly man was injured in a hit and run accident in West Heath yesterday evening (Thursday 28th September).
Police were called to Fairfax Road at around 6.30pm after the 70 year old pedestrian was hit by a car.
He remains in a stable condition in hospital today after suffering a leg injury, which is not thought to be life threatening.
The car involved made off from the scene and enquiries are on-going to trace the driver.
