From Longbridge Life:
Students from across Birmingham will be showcasing their musical talents this Saturday (14 October) for the first ‘MusiColl’ event in Longbridge.
This free event, organised in partnership Friends of Longbridge Open Spaces (FLOS) in partnership with Bournville College, will see students from Bournville and South and City College Birmingham come together to perform and show off their musical skills.
Members of the public are invited to come and enjoy the talents of our local colleges at the event which will take place from 1pm – 3pm outside Bournville College.
Andrea Clarke, Manager of Longbridge Town Centre said: “The MusiColl event is the first of its kind to take place in Longbridge and we’re looking forward to seeing the community come together to support the future talent of Birmingham.”
Nik Wells, Technical Coordinator at Bournville College, said: “This is a great opportunity for the students from both campuses to show off their performance and music skills and, as the Bournville campus lies at the heart of the Longbridge, entertain the local community in the open air.”
Friends of Longbridge Open Spaces is a community group funded by St. Modwen through it’s Longbridge Life platform. The group was established to help build the community at the newly developed town centre and surrounding areas.
