West Midlands Police are investigating after a man was targeted by a lad who tried to drag him away from his car in Rubery this morning (Friday 24th November).
The incident happened as the man was de-frosting his car in Cock Hill Lane just before 8am. He had started the ignition then got out to scrape his windows when a youth approached and tried to drag him away from the vehicle. The offender tried to get into the car but ran off when the man fought back.
Officers were on scene within minutes of the man’s 999 call and enquiries are ongoing.
