Good news, missing 12 years old Shane Pinder returned home safely – thank you to everyone who shared the appeal

West Midlands Police are continuing their appeal for help, after a missing boy was spotted in King’s Norton this morning (Sunday 18th March). And officers have appealed directly to Shane, stressing he’s not in any trouble.

Shane Pinder has been missing since Friday afternoon (16th March), when he left school at Wheelers Lane Technology College in Kings Heath.

Shane was later seen near Hockley Circus in Birmingham.

An appeal was launched yesterday after no further signs of the lad were reported.

And police received information regarding a sighting of Shane in the Hawkesley area of Kings Norton at around 11.30am this morning. He was still wearing his school uniform.

Police believe Shane may be using his bus pass to travel on buses around the city, and officers are speaking to drivers to alert them to his disappearance.
