A 13 year old mountain biking enthusiast had his beloved bike stolen from him at knifepoint in a local park last night (Thursday 3rd May).
The incident happened in Selly Oak Park, off Harborne Lane at around 7.50pm.
West Midlands Police were called after the lad was reportedly approached by a man brandishing a knife who told him to get off the bike.
Fortunately the lad did not sustain any injuries but was left very shaken and upset.
The bike stolen was a Cube Stereo mountain bike in black and red similar to the one in the images.
