Firefighters from West Midlands Fire Service Northfield station dealt with a fire on “The Green Hill” between Jervoise Road and Alwold Road, Weoley Castle this afternoon (Tuesday 10th July).
A dumped sofa was set alight, which in turn quickly ignited the very dry vegetation.
Firefighters managed to protect nearby homes.
