The family of a teenage biker who sadly died following a motorbike collision in Quinton on Sunday (9th September) have paid tribute to him today.

18 year old Ellis Haarhoff was riding a motorbike which hit a tree in Wolverhampton Road at around 11.45pm.
Ellis was treated for serious injuries at the scene by paramedics – including specialist trauma paramedic and a doctor. He was taken to hospital but, despite best efforts, sadly died yesterday morning (Monday 10th September).
Ellis’s family have today paid tribute to their loved one saying: “The love we have for Ellis in our hearts will never fade. He is loved by many and will always be our beautiful boy.”
West Midlands Police continue their appeal for information to help with their investigation into the accident. They particularly want to speak to the driver of a white van which was travelling on the Wolverhampton Road at the time of the accident.
PC Mark Crozier, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Ellis tragically lost his life and our thoughts are with his family at this terribly traumatic time.
“We want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information to help us establish the circumstances around this collision. I am particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white van which was travelling on Wolverhampton Road at the time and may hold vital information.”
