The victim of a burglary in Longbridge last week has appealed for the return of a hard drive containing sentimental photographs, including of a deceased child.
Michelle said that thieves broke into her family’s Groveley Lane home between 7.15 and 7.45pm on Friday 12th October.
Entering through the back garden, they broke through French doors.

After locking the dog in the utility room, the thieves went through the house looking for valuables, ripping out and stealing a safe.
They made off with the safe and a man’s Citizen Ecodrive watch (pictured), which was a wedding gift.
The safe contained car keys and important family documents including passports.
It was later recovered, as were the passports.

However, of most importance to the family is the hard drive that was taken from the safe. The hard drive contained many precious family photos, including of the victim’s son, who sadly died at the age of 14 years.
Michelle said: “Being burgled is bad enough, but losing the photos and the watch is very hard and we would offer a reward for their return.
“I do want to say thank you to the kind people who found the safe and to the person who returned passports. With all of this, it is nice to know there are some kind & honest people around.”
Michelle said that another property in nearby Wootton Road was burgled at around the same time.
