A man has been arrested after pushing two teenage girls and stealing a mobile phone in Rednal last night (Monday 22nd October).
A West Midlands Police spokesman confirmed that officers were called at around 10.15pm when a member of the public saw a man shove the two girls (aged 16 and 18) into a bush close to Morrisons car park in Bristol Road South.
The man stole one of the girls’ mobile phones before running off in the direction of nearby Colmers School.
Officers responded quickly and found the man hiding in bushes. He remains in custody today after being arrested on suspicion of robbery.
