Customers and staff of a Rubery bingo hall were left shaken when men entered the building, demanding money, yesterday evening (Sunday 16th December).
The robbery happened at around 9.15pm at Buzz Bingo (formerly Gala Bingo) in Park Way in the Great Park area, while the popular leisure venue was still open.

The two men, wearing balaclavas, entered the main hall where customers were enjoying bingo games, demanding money. One of the men threatened a staff member. He was believed to have been armed although no weapon was seen.
The pair made off with a quantity of cash.
West Midlands Police – including armed officers – attended the scene.
It is understood that no-one was seriously injured in the attack, with one member of staff checked over for a minor injury by West Midlands Ambulance Service staff.
