Residents in Cofton Hackett and Longbridge are being invited to contribute to a time capsule which is to be buried at a new village hall, set to open this summer.
The time capsule is being created by Cofton Village Hall Trust and developer St. Modwen and will be buried next to Cofton Village Hall to mark the build of the centre on East Works Drive.
Local people are being asked to get in touch if there are items they would like included in the capsule.
Kath Stanczyszyn, local resident and member of Cofton Village Hall Trust, said: “This village hall will be a great addition to the area, allowing people who live here to get together for events and activities.
“We’re creating a time capsule to mark the occasion and to celebrate the extra sense of community the new hall will create.”
