West Mercia Police officers made two arrests after a car crashed into the central reservation on Bristol Road South in Longbridge last night (Saturday 2nd March) – with neither occupant willing to admit being the driver.
Just before midnight, officers tweeted that they had been involved in a short pursuit of the car – a red Volkswagen Polo – around Rubery. However, the driver soon “ran out of talent”, colliding into the central reservation and immobilising the car.
Both occupants of the car tried to run from the scene but were apprehended.
Both claimed the other was driving so both were arrested: one on suspicion of drink driving and the other on suspicion of driving without a licence.
