West Midlands Police are investigating after a masked man pushed a security guard to the ground before making off with a cash box in Longbridge town centre this morning (Tuesday 26th November).
The incident happened in High Street at just before 11.20am. The guard was pushed to the ground by the masked robber. The suspect then grabbed the security box and jumped into a black car, where a second man was waiting to drive away and the pair made off with the cash.
The security guard suffered an injury to his hand but thankfully did not require hospital treatment.
