Thousands across the UK have been affected by what appears to be a huge, intermittent outage of Virgin Media broadband services.
At a time when the home TV and Broadband giant is trying to help millions of isolated people, working and studying from home #StayConnected, over 35,000 issues were reported on Down Detector at 7.17pm on Monday 27th April.
In a tweet to a customer, a Virgin Media representative responded: “We’re currently investigating an intermittent broadband issue that lasted for a very short period of time earlier this evening. While services are currently back up and running, our teams are looking into the problem and will work flat out to fix it. We apologise for any inconvenience caused”
