West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a woman was stabbed at a house in Frankley this morning (Thursday 14th May).
Officers were called to the house in Quarry House Close, off Ormond Road, by West Midlands Ambulance Service colleagues at 11.20am.
The woman was found with a stomach injury and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Efforts are underway to trace the person responsible. House to house enquiries are being carried out and a CCTV trawl commenced.
“Anyone who was in Quarry House Close at around 11am today and saw anything suspicious, a disorder or a man fleeing the scene is urged to contact us.”
