A drive-thru coffee shop in Northfield has submitted an application to Birmingham City Council for 24 hour opening.
The Starbucks coffee shop opened last month after a lengthy battle for planning permission, mainly due to objections surrounding access in Vineyard Road next to Bellfield Schools.
The popular coffee chain’s outlet in Sir Herbert Austin Way is currently open from 6am until 10pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am ’til 8pm on Sundays.
The new license application would allow them to choose opening hours at any time – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
