Police are investigating after a woman was injured yesterday (Wednesday 17th May) during an attempted robbery close to the Birmingham City FC training ground in Wast Hills, close to West Heath.
The woman, in her 30s, was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham after the incident, which happened at around 3.20pm. A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said that her injuries were “not believed to be life threatening.”
Wast Hills Lane, Alvechurch, was closed as police investigated the incident.
Investigations are at a very early stage and no further information is available at the moment. We will update as soon as any becomes available.
