Organisation sought to take over Oddingley Hall

An organisation is being sought to take over the running of Oddingley Hall in Kings Norton / West Heath in a Community Asset Transfer from Birmingham City Council.

The organisation must be able to deliver community development activities and service to meet the local need.

Part of the building must also be made available to house a community library service, supported by Birmingham City Council.

Further details are in the Advertisement below and organisations must express an interest in taking over the centre by Friday 23rd June.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST  INVITED

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL

Oddingley Hall, Oddingley Road, Kings Norton, Birmingham B31 3BS

Third sector organisations are invited to submit Expressions of Interest in undertaking a Community Asset Transfer.

The Council would like this site to be transferred for the purpose of delivering community development activities and other services which meet local needs.

With support from Birmingham City Council, the development of an on-site community library service which will occupy part of the building is required,

Submit your request for an expression of interest form to the email address above.

Tours of the site will take place on 30th May and 6th June 2017 10.00am-12.00am. Please email Communitylibraries@birmingham.gov.uk to register your interest in taking part.

Closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 23rd June 2017.

If you are invited to interview you will be required to provide an outline Business plan for the operation of this site.
