Three young lads had their bikes stolen after being threatened by three older males – who they believed to have a knife – in Longbridge yesterday afternoon (Sunday 19th November).
The lads – all aged around 13 – were sitting on their bikes, chatting, outside the back of the Factory Young People’s Centre in Devon Way, off Longbridge Lane.
At around 3.30pm they were separately approached by 3 “men”. The men threatened the lads with what is believed to be a knife in their trouser waistbands and made off with all three bikes towards Longbridge Lane and the station.
Two of the bikes have since been recovered, but a red VooDoo Hoodoo mountain bike remains outstanding. The bike has black wheels, purple handle bar grips and a black seat with red and white stripes.
