Rubery Post Office remains closed today due to ongoing ‘technical issues’ which remain unresolved. The New Road branch has been closed due to telecommunication problems since the end of December.
Northfield’s main high street Post Office branch had also been closed but reopened on Friday (5th January).
A Post Office spokesperson issued an apology to customers. She said: “We sincerely apologise for the temporary closure of Rubery Post Office due to technical difficulties beyond our control.
“We understand how important Post Office services are to the local community and we are working hard to resolve the telecommunications issues with BT in order to open the branch as soon as possible.”

Longbridge Post Office, Longbridge Supermarket, 1706 – 1708 Bristol Road South, Rednal, B45 9QD
