A driver suffered relatively minor injuries after their car collided with a lamppost and overturned in Barnes Hill this afternoon (Friday 19th January).
The accident happened just after midday and was attended by West Midlands Police and fire crews from Northfield and Bournbrook.
The driver was checked over by West Midlands Ambulance Service staff and taken to hospital for assessment as a precaution.
The road remained closed for around an hour as there was concern over the position of the lamppost.
