Northfield Leisure Centre is due to open within the next couple of months and we were lucky enough to be invited inside for a sneaky peak today (Wednesday 7th March)!
We managed to get a few exclusive pics for you for a first look.
There’s still a way to go yet, but you can see the centre taking shape and get a better sense of the facilities which include a 25m pool, a training pool, an 80 station gym and a studio for classes, spin etc., a community room, and improved accessibility for all.

The 25m pool: we were hoping we would get to see it filled, but that’s delayed, due to the water supply issues this week!
The training pool – great view of The Black Horse through the one way glass – blinds can also be closed

Big thanks to Northfield Leisure Centre’s Peter Smith and Gary Tempest for the preview!
Birmingham Community Leisure Centre Trust hope to be in the building by early April, preparing to welcome the first community users!
We hope to pop back for another look then!
Users can still Pay as You Go to use the facilities. However, memberships are now available at a reduced rate of £25.99 (until the end of March). See full details.
