A man was injured after an accident in Northfield in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called at around 2am after a car reportedly collided with a stationary vehicle in Middlemore Road, close to the Wychall Road junction.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman confirmed that reports said that four people ran from the scene.
A man, 27, was left trapped in the car and was taken to hospital after being freed by Weest Midlands Fire Service. There are no further updates on his injuries at present.
It is understood that the road reopened a short time after the collision.
