A new quirky Lounge cafe bar venue is on its way to Northfield high street after Birmingham City Council approved a change of use application for a former clothing store on Thursday (16th August).
And we understand that the ‘Northfield Lounge’ – yet to be given a name in keeping with the brand – is likely to open in the next few months!
‘The Lounges’ are family friendly and offer food and drink in a comfortable, homely setting, claiming their venues are: “Like all the comforts of home but better. Unless you have a chef and a bar in your lounge.”
The application from the Bristol based business – which has several venues across the city, including Loco in Kings Heath and Arco in Harborne – gives the green light for the change of use in the former Store Twenty One retail unit in Bristol Road South.
The company are already recruiting kitchen staff – check our jobs page for vacancies –and for more details on the venue in the coming weeks…
